Keynote Speaker Heather Ford

Please join us for a very exciting keynote presentation! Dr. Heather Ford will be joining us via Zoom to give presentation on some of her research. Dr. Heather Ford currently is an assistant professor of geology at the University of California, Riverside and has projects spanning from Wyoming to Australia! We are very excited to have Dr. Ford present and hope you are too! 

Dr. Ford completed a Honors B.S. in Geoogical Sciences from the University of Michigan in 2005. She then went on to complete her M.Sc. in Geological Sciences in 2009, as well as her Ph.D. in Geological Sciences in 2013, at Brown University. Dr. Ford began working at the University of California, Riverside in March of 2016. Her research interests range over a variety of topics including seismology, petrology, geophysics, and geochemistry!

The EES department is very excited to have Dr. Ford speak at the first ever Research Symposium for Earth and Environmental Sciences! It is time for you to get excited too!
