Zayed Bin Saif

Graduate Research Assistant

I am a water resources engineer by profession and currently a graduate researcher pursuing an M.S. in Earth & Environmental Sciences at the University of Kentucky. Before starting my graduate studies, I worked in Bangladesh’s water resources sector, most recently as a Sub-Divisional Engineer at the Joint Rivers Commission, Bangladesh. Previously, I served as an Assistant Engineer at the Bangladesh Water Development Board and as a Junior Design Engineer with the Blue Gold Program. My research interests include hydrological modeling, particularly watershed modeling, transboundary water management, and sustainable water resources planning. My current research focuses on assessing water availability and the water budget in the Kentucky River Basin using SWAT+, GIS, and hydrological data analysis.
