Research Interests:

B.S. Petroleum Geology, 2015, University of Oklahoma

M.S. Geology, 2017, University of Oklahoma

During my M.S. program, I investigated paleoweathering processes in Proterozoic and Cambrian rocks of Nevada and Missouri using paleomagnetic, rock magnetic, and diagenetic research methods and field structural relationships.

My Ph.D. research here at UK is focused on the mechanisms and rates of orogenic collapse, using the Scottish Caledonides as a natural laboratory. We primarily use thermochronology and finite element modeling to try to gain a better understanding of this phenomenon.

Prior to coming to UK, I worked as an automotive technician for 8 years before earning my B.S. and M.S. at Oklahoma. I worked in the oil and gas industry for 3 years as an intern, focusing on petrophysics and structural geology on the development side of the business.
